Welcome to Ignited by the Word (“Ignited by the Word” or the “Publication”). We welcome submissions of artwork, short stories, book reviews, illustrations, activities, devotionals, written articles, and defense of the faith material (collectively, “Submissions”) for possible publication. By submitting any of your Submissions, you acknowledge you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in your Submission. However, by submitting content to Ignited by the Word, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute, publicly display, and promote your Submission in any media, now or in the future. This includes use in print editions, online platforms, promotional materials, and derivative works related to the Publication.

You also grant us permission to use your name, biography, and/or likeness in connection with your Submission.

Contributor Warranties

By submitting your work, you confirm that:

  • Your Submission is your original work and you own the rights to it.
  • Your Submission does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or third-party rights.
  • Your Submission is not defamatory or unlawful.
  • You will indemnify Ignited by the Word against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from a breach of these warranties.

Copyright and Plagiarism

All Submissions must be original. Plagiarized work or content that violates another party’s rights will be disqualified and not published. You are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or releases for people, places, or property depicted in your Submission.

Editorial Rights

Ignited by the Word reserves the right to edit Submissions for length, clarity, and style. We are under no obligation to publish any Submission.

Liability Disclaimer

We disclaim any and all liability in connection with your Submission. Submissions are provided voluntarily and at your own risk.
